- • Filtered Extra Virgin Olive does NOT mean Refined. Refined Olive Oil has gone through a process with the presence of chemicals to “clean impurities”, but also takes out most of the polyphenols and most of the other nutrients and as a result there is an olive oil chemically processed, stripped of any possible beneficial nutrient and creating a product of “empty calories”.
- ADAMANDAS High Phenolic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is filtered, which means that the process of filtration is only for the removal of any leftover chunks of the fruit and there are NO chemicals involved. The Quality and Nutrients remain the same.
